How You Can Support Workforce Development on Giving Tuesday
To help give students the tools they need to build their career in the construction industry, Home Builders Institute (HBI) is participating in Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2.
Giving Tuesday is a national campaign created in 2012 as a simple idea: A day that encourages people to do good on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
Funds raised will support its Blueprints for Tomorrow Campaign. Whether it’s covering housing costs, transportation, or basic needs, the fund ensures that students enrolled in HBI’s job training programs can focus on building their careers without being held back by financial hardship. It exists for the moments no one prepares you for, the moments when a student has to choose between finishing their training and meeting a basic need.
